My Experience

I have been practising as a Counsellor since 2007 and have been awarded Accredited Member status with the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapist (BACP). This means that BACP have endorsed my knowledge, understanding and experience as a Counsellor as well as verified the hundred of client hours I have accrued through my counselling practice. I currently abide by the BACP Ethical Framework and receive regular monthly supervision to ensure that you, as a client,  are receiving the best service from me,  as a Counsellor. I am am also a registered member of UKCP.

Life before Counselling

Prior to training and working as a Counsellor I worked in the TV and Film Industry for twelve years. I therefore have a very good understanding of working in highly pressurised environments and working alongside a wide range of people.

Further Development

I am currently training to be an Animal Assisted Therapist which involves incorporating the use of animals in counselling practice for the therapeutic benefit of clients. I hope to be able to offer counselling sessions with a therapy dog at some point in the future.  Please let me know if you would like more information on this service.
